What I can do: I work well in pencil, graphite, charcoal, and conte crayon, on paper of any size. I enjoy both technical and abstract drawings and everything in between. I have the most experience with drawing portraits, landscapes, and animals/pets. Refer to my portfolio for a visualization of my style and past works.

What it will cost: Prices vary due to a few different factors. Size, medium(s) used, level of detail, and specificity of your request will all determine how difficult and time-consuming a drawing is for me to produce. At this time, I do not have standard pricing for custom artwork due to how varied these factors can be. However, if you are looking for an estimate, I have provided sale prices for some previous custom pieces, which can be found over in my portfolio.  Specific price quotes are also available when you talk to me about your order after submitting a consultation request (see below). Placing an order: Fill out the form on my consultation request page. Submitting a request there will get things started, so that we can begin talking about your order in more detail. When I receive your request, I will send you an email confirming your request, with any additional questions or clarification that I need. Then we will work out a payment method and I will ask for a shipping address so that I can deliver your custom drawing. You don’t pay until all these details are worked out and I begin working on your drawing!

(Note: If you have a general idea but no specific preferences on size or medium, please submit the consultation request form but choose the “Artist’s Choice” option on the items you don’t have a preference for.)

What you will get: Drawings are unframed, and ship in poster tubes to protect from bending and folding. I treat all completed drawings with a fixative spray to prevent smearing and smudging. Pieces come in a variety of sizes and are completed using high quality mediums on high quality Strathmore brand medium weight drawing paper. (Heavier, higher quality is paper is available for a small additional charge at your request.) I use Faber-Castell brand soft black art pencils in a variety of grades, beautiful conte crayons in an array of colors from Conte’ a’ Paris, large extra soft compressed charcoal sticks, and large compressed graphite sticks in a selection of grades. I also use Master’s Touch brand blending stumps to ensure smooth shading on all my drawings, and I erase using a variety of eraser types tailored to your medium of choice.

I take progress pics of my work along the way in order to make sure I am on the right track with your request. Reasonable changes or additions can be made to the drawing if you ask; if you do want something changed or added, let me know as soon as possible to ensure quality and satisfaction. Certain mediums are not erasable or are very difficult to cover up, so request any changes sooner rather than later in the drawing process. Regardless of your chosen medium, I always start with a pencil sketch; it is best to inform me of any desired alterations at that stage of my work. I will try my best to accommodate changes and additions if possible – your satisfaction is what matters!
